Myanmar Tourist eVisa Requirements or Documents checklist
- Scanned Passport Which should at least have 6 months of validity
- Scanned Photograph Which must be colored, 4.6cm x 3.8cm of size, and taken within the last 3 months.
- Credit/Debit Card Which must be issued by either Visa, Mastercard or American Express; JCB credit card or Alipay
- Booking confirmation of either registered hotel, motel, inn, guest house, or resort of complete stay in Myanmar. You don't require it while applying for e-Visa but immigration officer will ask for it at a port of entry.
- Some selected ports accept e-Visa.

Myanmar Tourist eVisa Application Process
- Open the official eVisa website.
- Choose the type you want to apply (Tourist or Tourist Express).
- Enter the required details.
- Upload the scanned copy of Passport and passport size photo.
- Pay the visa fees online via one of the accepted methods and wait for submission confirmation, which usually takes 1 hour and then wait for visa approval email.
- You can check eVisa status at https://evisa.moip.gov.mm/Home/StatusEnquiry
- Download the Approval letter and fly to Myanmar for your holidays
Myanmar Tourist eVisa Fees
Myanmar eVisa valid for 90 days from the date of issue and has a stay period of 28 days from the date of entry. Malaysia passport holders can get the tourist eVisa of Myanmar by paying an online fee of US$50 which has a normal processing time of 3 working days. They also have an option of express processing which costs US$56 and is processed within 1 working day.

- Two Photograph Which must be colored, 4cm x 6cm of size, and taken within the last 6 months.
- Return Flight Tickets

Myanmar Visa on Arrival Application Process
- Keep all documents handy.
- Airline Staff will provide you some forms which need to fill and submit at the immigration counter. (Tip: Carry a pen ✏ with you and fill the provided forms while in flight to speed the immigration queue)
- After getting off from the airplane ✈, straight go to the immigration counter 🛂.
- Show the required documents and pay the Visa fees in US Dollars.
- The immigration officer will stamp your Visa on arrival if everything is fine.
Myanmar Visa on Arrival Fees
Myanmar Visa on arrival is valid for 28 days. Malaysia passport holders can get the tourist visa on arrival of Myanmar by paying a fee of US$50 in US dollars only.

- Letter of Invitation to you from a registered company
- Company Registration of inviting company
- Certificate of Incorporation (For Local Company) or
- Certificate of Registration of Branch Office (For Foreign Investment Company)
- Credit/Debit Card Which must be issued by either Visa, Mastercard or American Express; JCB credit card or Alipay
- Booking confirmation of either registered hotel, motel, inn, guest house, or resort of complete stay in Myanmar. You don't require it while applying for e-Visa but immigration officer will ask for it at a port of entry.

Myanmar eVisa valid for 90 days from the date of issue and has a stay period of 70 days from the date of entry. Malaysia passport holders can get the tourist eVisa of Myanmar by paying an online fee of US$70 which has a normal processing time of 3 working days.
Visa Fees
Myanmar tourist eVisa fees is US$50 for normal processing of 3 days and express option comes with an extra fee of US$ 6 so you have to pay US$ 56 for express visa processing which takes just 1 working day. Myanmar Visa on arrival is also for a fees of US$50 but accepted at selected ports of entry. Business travellers can apply for eVisa which cost US$70 and processing time is 3 working days.

👉Immigration usually asks about accommodation on the port of entry. So always carry a booking confirmation of either registered hotel, motel, inn, guest house, or resort of complete stay in Myanmar.
