Laos Visa Requirements

Laos Tourist eVisa requirements

  1. 📒 Passport, Which should at least have six(6) months of validity - Scanned Copy
  2. 👤 Applicant Photograph - Scanned Copy [4cm X 6cm]
  3. 🛏️ Accommodation or hotel address and contact details.
  4. 💳 Credit/Debit Card for online payment of visa fees
  5. 📧 An email address which must be valid as they verify it

Note: Laos eVisa is valid only at the following entry points

  1. Wattay International Airport
  2. Luang Prabang International Airport
  3. Pakse International Airport
  4. Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge I (Thailand border)
  5. Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge II (Thailand border)

 

Laos Tourist Visa on arrival requirements

  1. 📒 Passport, Which should at least have six(6) months of validity
  2. 👤 Applicant Photograph - [2 Copies] [4cm X 6cm]
  3. 🛏️ Accommodation or hotel address and contact details
  4. The Visa form is available at the port of entry.
  5. Visa fees in Cash. Only USD or Lao Kip is acceptable. Thai Bhat is accepted only at Laos - Thailand land borders. We recommend you to carry USD.

Laos Visa Process

Laos Tourist eVisa process

  1. Open Laos official eVisa Website
  2. Click on “Apply Now”
  3. Enter your email address and verify the same
  4. Fill in your personal information and travel details
  5. Review and submit the information and then proceed with payment
  6. Wait for your application to get processed.

Laos Visa Fees

Laos eVisa takes up to 3 working days to get processed. Laos eVisa is valid for 60 days from the date of issue, but you can stay up to 30 days. Laos eVisa is a single entry, so you have to apply again if you re-enter. Laos eVisa is an extendable maximum of 2 times with a maximum stay period of 90 days.

Laos Visa on arrival is valid for 30 days and is a single entry only. It costs between USD 30 and USD 45.
