Visa Requirements

Single Entry Uganda eVisa for Australia passport holders

  1. 📒 Passport, which should be at least have 6 months of validity. You will need a scanned copy of your passport (First and last page)
  2. 👤 Applicant Photograph - Scanned Copy
  3. Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
  4. 💳 Credit/Debit Card for online payment of visa fees. They accept Visa, Mastercard
  5. 📧 An email address must be valid as you will receive important documents and confirmations via that email

 

East Africa Tourist Visa for Australia passport holders

  1. 📒 Passport, which should be at least have 6 months of validity. You will need a scanned copy of your passport (First and last page)
  2. 👤 Applicant Photograph - Scanned Copy
  3. ✈️Return Flight Ticket or ticket showing your travel out of Uganda
  4. Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
  5. Travel Itinerary with complete plans to visit other countries
  6. 💳 Credit/Debit Card for online payment of visa fees. They accept Visa, Mastercard
  7. 📧 An email address must be valid as you will receive important documents and confirmations via that email

 

Uganda Transit Visa for Australia passport holders

  1. 📒 Passport, which should be at least have 6 months of validity. You will need a scanned copy of your passport (First and last page)
  2. 👤 Applicant Photograph - Scanned Copy
  3. Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
  4. Covering letter with details of final destination
  5. 💳 Credit/Debit Card for online payment of visa fees. They accept Visa, Mastercard
  6. 📧 An email address must be valid as you will receive important documents and confirmations via that email

 

Note: All documents must be in either JPG, PNG, or PDF format and should have a maximum file size of 250KB. 

Visa Process

Uganda eVisa step to step process for Australia passport holders

  1. Open Uganda eVisa Official Website
  2. Choose Visa or Permit Type to Visaand then choose the Category of the required visa and choose related Subcategory and click on Next Step
  3. Fill the required along with Intended Hotel details in Uganda and click on Next Step
  4. Upload the required documents
  5. Proceed to Payment
  6. Wait for the visa to get processed

Visa Fees

Uganda single entry eVisa for Australia citizens costs US$ 50, valid for 90 days from date of approval with 45 days of stay period there. If you are planning to visit Kenya and Rwanda with Uganda for up to 30 days, you can apply for the East Africa Tourist visa which costs US$ 100. Generally, Uganda eVisa takes up to 4 workings days to process, but sometimes it takes more time. All eVisas attract a 3% surcharge to process online payments.
